- Filtered Air: We don’t just ventilate; incoming fresh air and recirculated indoor air are filtered to remove pollutants, providing you with healthier indoor air quality.
- Moisture and Humidity Control: By managing humidity levels and venting excess moisture, especially from areas like bathrooms and laundry rooms, we prevent mold and mildew growth.
- Insulation and Air Sealing: Our homes are virtually draft-free and maintain a consistent temperature throughout, creating a snug and energy-efficient environment free from cold spots or overheating areas.
- Safer Building Materials: We use materials that are free from toxic and noxious emissions.

While “healthy home” does not have an official definition, we do build to a number of different green certifications and standards that feature requirements that create a home that is healthier and safer:

While it is not an active program anymore, BPC also has the distinction of building Connecticut’s first American Lung Association Certified Health House (and we can continue to build houses that meet those certification guidelines).
